[2] After coaching at Hammond, Ard was cast in the lead role of a Gatorade commercial, which aired from 2008 to 2009.
[6] Ard was then a recruiter and assistant coach at Pensacola State College in Florida during the 2010–11 and 2011–12 seasons, then spent a year at Troy University, working under Chanda Rigby and athletic director John Hartwell.
[8] On March 23, 2020, it was announced that she had been hired as the head coach for the Utah State University's basketball program.
Following the roster overhaul, Utah State declined to 4–26 in 2022–23, including a 1–17 record in Mountain West Conference games.
[9] Ard was dismissed from her position as head coach of the team following the 2023–24 season, where Utah State finished 5–25 and 2–16 (last place) in conference play.
