Kenneth Egano

[1][2] Egano was born on April 2, 2001, in General Santos City, Philippines He began boxing at a young age and eventually compiled an amateur record of 47 bouts.

Egano gained attention for his victory in an eight-round bout against Jason Facularin on May 6, 2023, as part of the "Blow by Blow" boxing series, which was promoted by former Senator and eight-time world champion Manny Pacquiao.

[5] The collapse was sudden, and he was immediately rushed to Imus Doctors Hospital.

Upon examination, he was diagnosed with a brain hemorrhage and underwent emergency surgery and was placed in a coma.

[6] Following the incident, the Games and Amusements Board (GAB), the regulatory body for professional sports in the Philippines, conducted an investigation and concluded that the fight was properly matched and that there was no negligence on the part of the event organizers or medical staff.
