The racial makeup of the township was 98.53% White, 0.74% Native American, and 0.74% from two or more races.

There were 121 households, of which 21.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.2% were married couples living together, 5.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.5% were non-families.

29.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 9.1% of families and 13.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including 12.7% of those under the age of eighteen and 8.6% of those 65 or over.
