Kevin Parsons Jr. MHA (November 25, 1961 – 15 August 2024)[1] was a Canadian politician from Newfoundland and Labrador.
Parsons had represented the electoral district of Cape St. Francis in the Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly since 2008.
He had previously served as the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Business, Tourism, Culture and Rural Development.
[2] A member of the Progressive Conservative Party, Parsons was elected in a by-election on August 27, 2008, following the death of longtime Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly and former cabinet minister Jack Byrne.
[6] In October 2020, Parsons announced he would not seek re-election in the 2021 provincial election.
