Kim Ku hideout (Meiwan Street)

A historic home that was once used as a hideout for Korean independence activist Kim Ku (1876–1949) is located on Meiwan Street [zh], in Jiaxing, China.

It is currently a memorial and exhibit to Kim Ku, his organization the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea, and the Korean independence movement.

After organizing the April 1932 Hongkou Park Incident, Japanese authorities began aggressively searching for Kim.
