Kimberley Starr

Kimberley Starr (born 1970) is an Australian novelist and teacher.

[1] Kimberley Starr was born in 1970 in Morgantown, West Virginia, moving to Australia as a young child.

Starr currently teaches English at Viewbank College and is a graduate researcher in creative writing at La Trobe University.

Starr's 2004 debut novel, The Kingdom Where Nobody Dies has been taught as a secondary school text, won the 2003 Queensland Premier's Literary Awards for Best Emerging Author, and was chosen for the 2005 "One Book One Brisbane" reading campaign.
