King is a town in Lincoln County, Wisconsin, United States.
[1] The Wisconsin River crosses the town from northeast to southwest, the southwestern part being impounded by Kings Dam to form Lake Alice.
As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 842 people, 362 households, and 270 families residing in the town.
There were 623 housing units at an average density of 18.4 per square mile (7.1/km2).
22.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
