Skanawan is a town in Lincoln County, Wisconsin, United States.

Skanwan is in northeastern Lincoln County, 9 miles (14 km) southeast of Tomahawk and 21 miles (34 km) north of Merrill, the county seat.

There were 216 housing units at an average density of 6.1 per square mile (2.4/km2).
