Kathleen Flynn (4 April 1926 – 11 January 2025) was an Irish historian and author from Kilbeggan, County Westmeath.
[1][2] Her books largely relate to the local area, particularly during times of conflict such as the 1798 Rebellion.
Edward spent time in the American Navy before returning to his native Kilbeggan.
[7] Flynn's sister Teresa Moran was killed in Kilbeggan in a road accident on Main Street in 2003.
