The film stars Napoleon, Nassar, Devayani and Geetha, with Manivannan, Thalaivasal Vijay, Vichithra, Theni Kunjarammal, Kalyanjiyam, and Chaplin Balu playing supporting roles.

Kathalingam is actually a bad person and drunkard, and he has an affair with the village belle Valli (Vichithra).
