Samuel Kofi Ahiave Dzamesi[1] (born 1959)[2] is a Ghanaian politician who is chief executive of the Bui Power Authority since August 2021.
[9] Prior to the 2016 general election, Dzamesi was appointed the chair of the New Patriotic Party's select committee on chieftaincy affairs.
[2] In 2017, he transitioned from this role to be appointed as Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs by President Akufo-Addo to replace Henry Seidu Daanaa.
[10] In 2020, he commissioned a 3 units classroom block at Agordeke in the Ketu North Constituency and cut sod for the construction 20 seater WC toilet at Tadzewu.
On 7 January 2017, President Nana Akuffo-Addo nominated Dzamesi for the position of Minister of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs.
[13] During his vetting he made known to the committee that he would set up a royal college in Ghana to educate chiefs and traditional rulers on the need to avoid partisan politics.
[17] Dzamesi has engaged feuding factions in various chieftaincy disputes in the country in an effort to find lasting solutions for peace.
