Koichi Haraguchi

Koichi Haraguchi (原口 幸市, Haraguchi Kōichi, November 24, 1940 – October 4, 2009) was a former Japanese diplomat and the Grand Master of Ceremonies of the Imperial Household Agency.

After graduating, he entered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1964 and rose through the ranks.

[2] Haraguchi also served as the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to both the Japanese diplomatic mission in Geneva and the United Nations.

[4] In July 2007, Haraguchi was appointed to the Grand Master of the Ceremonies of the Imperial Household Agency.

Amakazari[6] with colleagues in Niigata, he fell unconscious near the summit and was evacuated to a hospital, but died from sudden cardiac arrest.
