Kudelin

Kudelin (Bulgarian: Куделин) is a village in the Bregovo Municipality of the Vidin Province of Bulgaria.

It is about 1.5 to 2 km (1,600 to 2,200 yd) east of the River Timok, which forms the border with Serbia from its mouth at the confluence with the River Danube to the north to the border with Romania to the southeast.

Historically, the village was called "Wallachian Rakovica" (Bulgarian: Влашка Раковица).

In 1934 it was renamed[2] after Kudelin, a joint ruler of Braničevo at the end of the 13th century.

At the outbreak of First Balkan War in 1912, a local man enlisted in the Macedonian-Adrianopolitan Volunteer Corps.
