Laetesia prominens is a species of sheet weaver spider found in New Zealand.

[1] This species was described in 1988 by Alfred Frank Millidge from female specimens.

[2] The holotype is stored in the New Zealand Arthropod Collection under registration number NZAC03014979.

The abdomen is grey dorsally with black chevrons and pale patches.

[2] Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Not Threatened".
