Lamington is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP)[6] located within Bedminster Township in Somerset County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.
"Lamington" is a corruption of the Native American word for the nearby stream, the "Allemetunck" or the "Loamatong".
