Lathrocordulia metallica is a species of dragonfly in the superfamily Libelluloidea,[3] known as the Western swiftwing.

[4] It is a medium-sized, bronze to black coloured dragonfly without pale markings,[4] endemic to south-western Australia,[5] where it inhabits streams.
