Latvian Museum of Photography

The museum offers a full range of research opportunities, including the collection, archives and library.

1839-1941" was opened to the public, presenting the stages of the development of Latvian photography in chronological order.

The author of the exhibition was Pēteris Korsaks, and the first head of the museum was Vilnis Auziņš.

A public space has been created there, which is being developed as an area for learning, research and discussion about photography in Latvia.

In 2021, this collection was included in the Latvian National Register of the UNESCO Memory of the World Programme.
