Laura Gardini (born 1952) is an Italian mathematician who studies chaos in dynamical systems, with applications in mathematical finance.
She graduated cum laude from the University of Bologna in 1975, and became a researcher for the Ente Nazionale Idrocarburi (ENI), an Italian national energy association.
[1] During this period she also taught mechanics in the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Ancona.
[3] She is one of the founders of an annual workshop on dynamical systems in economics and finance, held at the University of Urbino since 2000.
[4] A festschrift in honor of her 60th birthday, Global Analysis of Dynamic Models in Economics and Finance: Essays in Honour of Laura Gardini, was published in 2013.
