Lavenay

Lavenay (French pronunciation: [lavnɛ]) is a former commune in the Sarthe department in the region of Pays de la Loire in north-western France.

On 1 January 2017, it was merged into the new commune Loir en Vallée.

[1] The Braye forms most of the commune's south-eastern border, then flows into the Loir, which forms most of its south-western border.

The railway station is at Pont-de-Braye, a hamlet south of Lavenay.
