It is bordered to the north and west by the city of Lebanon, the county seat.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.0 km2), of which 2.2 acres (8,863 m2), or 0.43%, are water.

As of the census[8] of 2000, there were 2,145 people, 947 households, and 661 families residing in the CDP.

There were 974 housing units at an average density of 1,231.3 per square mile (475.4/km2).

25.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
