[1] On 1 April 1931 the parish was abolished to form "Lenton Keisby and Osgodby".

[6] A previous exhibition to raise funds for the church, The Host of Angels Experience, returned in 2012.

Larger villages close by include Ropsley, Folkingham and Ingoldsby.

[11] The village is associated with the site of the lost medieval settlement of Little Lavington, 0.5 miles (0.8 km) to the north-east.

[12][13] South of the village is the site of the lost settlement of Osgodby whose name survives in the name of the parish.
