Leontopodium microphyllum, known as Taiwan edelweiss, or small leaf edelweiss, is a species of plant in the family Asteraceae.
The plant is a relative of the European Edelweiss (Leontopodium alpinum).
It was first published by Japanese botanist Bunzō Hayata in 1908.
