Leucania venalba is a moth of the family Noctuidae first described by Frederic Moore in 1867.
[1] It is found in Indo-Australian tropics of India, Sri Lanka,[2] to Fiji and New Caledonia.
[3] Forewings brown without a distinct pale spot at the discal end found on other related species.
Half a dark-edged white line runs down the middle of each forewing.
A broad, double, purple-brown dorsal line is visible.
