Levi B. Kaler (January 26, 1828 – September 1, 1906) was an American politician and businessman from Pennsylvania.
His grandfather Matthias Kaler was a German immigrant who served in the Revolutionary War and was a justice of the peace in Berks County.
He was educated in common schools and was instructed privately by Reverend Henry Miller.
[2] At the age of 19, Kaler became a salesman with William Nyce, a dry goods and grocery dealer in Phoenixville.
[2][4] He was involved in the construction of the Masonic Hall in Phoenixville and was president of its board of managers.
[3] He was deacon of the First Baptist Church in Phoenixville and served as its treasurer for a number of years.
[2][6] For more than 20 years, he was clerk and treasurer of the Central Union Association of Baptist Churches.
