Liberatus Sangu

He was born on 19 February 1963 in Mwazye Village in the Diocese of Sumbawanga, Tanzania.

He then studied theology at St. Charles Lwanga Segerea Seminary, in Dar-es-Salaam.

Later, he studied sacramental theology at the Pontifical Athenaeum of Saint Anselm in Rome.

[1][2] He was ordained a priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sumbawanga on 9 July 1994.

[1][2] On 2 February 2015, Pope Francis appointed him as Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Shinyanga.
