Lily Murphy

Lily Rose Murphy (born 13 February 2006) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Women's Super League club Manchester City and the England under-19s.

As a versatile athlete she has represented England at youth level for sprinting, and previously played on loan for National League football clubs Stockport County, AFC Fylde, and Stoke City.

[17] On 3 April, she scored her second goal in her third appearance for the club against Middlesbrough,[18] prior to moving to National League North side AFC Fylde ahead of the 2023–24 season.

[21][10] In February 2024, Murphy received her first call up to the England under-19 team, as a midfielder, for La Nucia tournament fixtures in Alicante,[22][1] featuring as a substitute in a 3–2 defeat to France,[23] and as part of the starting eleven in a 2–2 draw with Norway.

[24] In November and December 2024, for 2025 U19 Championship qualification, she featured in matches against Italy and Poland,[25][26] Murphy has represented England at youth level for 100 meter sprint, while also prioritising her football career.
