Lisa Fobbe

Lisa A. Fobbe (born January 23, 1963) is a Minnesota politician and a former member of the Minnesota Senate who represented District 16, which includes portions of Benton, Mille Lacs, Morrison and Sherburne counties in the central part of the state.

[1] The seat became vacant when Senator Betsy Wergin resigned on July 28, 2008, in order to accept an appointment by Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty as a member of the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission.

[2] She was unseated by Republican David Brown in the 2010 general election.

[4] Her special legislative concerns included education, health care, transportation, and the economy.
