[1] Initially did not attend, Yoasobi made their debut live performance as a duo alongside the band members with "Yoru ni Kakeru" on December 31, 2020, at the 71st edition of year-end television special NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen, making them the first-ever artist to perform at the event without any physical releases.

[2] After the release of their debut EP, The Book (2021), Yoasobi held their first livestream concert Keep Out Theater in February 2021, received an online attendance of 40,000 people.

In support of the second EP The Book 2 (2021), the duo launched their first face-to-face one-off concert Nice to Meet You on December 1–2, took place at Nippon Budokan.

They concluded the year with the performances of "Gunjō" with symphony orchestra, and "Tsubame", featuring Midories, at the 72nd NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen.

They performed as an opening act on Tokyo shows of British rock band Coldplay's Music of the Spheres World Tour in November.
