Prime Minister of Uganda

Robinah Nabbanja has been the prime minister since 21 June 2021.

In 1966, Prime Minister Milton Obote suspended the Constitution, abolished the post of prime minister, and declared himself president.

The prime minister is appointed by the president with the approval of Parliament.

The headquarters of the office of the prime minister of Uganda are located in the Twin Towers on Sir Apollo Kaggwa Road, in the Central Division of Kampala, Uganda's capital and largest city.
