The name Leon has been used for four tropical cyclones worldwide: two in the Philippines by PAGASA in the Western Pacific Ocean, and two in the Australian region.
For Philippines, the name was derived from a local word for lion, and it replaced Lawin after its devastation in the area during 2016.
