[1] The current vice governor is Hilario Davide III, under Liberal Party.

He previously served as Governor of Cebu for two consecutive terms from 2013 to 2019 and was a member of the City Council representing Cebu City's North District from 2004 to 2007 and again from 2007 to 2010.

On June 18, 1898, then President Emilio Aguinaldo promulgated a decree delegating Julio A. Llorente and Segundo Singson as Vice Governor of the Cebu province.
