Lithocarpus mariae is a tree in the beech family Fagaceae.
It is named for the Dutch botanical biographer Maria Johanna van Steenis-Kruseman.
[2] Lithocarpus mariae grows as a tree up to 35 metres (110 ft) tall with a trunk diameter of up to 60 cm (24 in) and buttresses measuring up to 0.7 metres (2 ft) high.
Its dark brown acorns are ovoid and measure up to 3.5 cm (1 in) long.
[1][2] Its habitat is mixed dipterocarp forest to 1,800 m (6,000 ft) elevation.
