Longs is a small unincorporated community in Horry County, South Carolina, United States.

Longs consists of many new developments, planned communities, a few golf courses, and many locally owned businesses.

To the south of Highway 90, the city of North Myrtle Beach has started to annex and incorporate vast swaths of land that lie in the 29568 zip code.

Communities such as Bells Lake and the Palmetto Coast Industrial Park lie in this area.

Of historical note, Longs became established when the Long family, who still have descendants living in South Carolina, California, North Carolina, and New York, began the construction of many public buildings and works including a Baptist church.
