Lorena is a small city in McLennan County, Texas, United States.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.2 square miles (8.3 km2), all land.
As of the 2020 United States census, there were 1,785 people, 644 households, and 514 families residing in the city.
About 21.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
Lorena is named after one of the town's first settlers' oldest daughter, Lorena Westbrook, although its original name was "Aerl Station" after the town's founder, Daniel Aerl.
