Macrocheles muscaedomesticae is a species of mite in the family Macrochelidae.
It has a cosmopolitan distribution.
[1] This mite species feeds on flies in their egg, larval and (possibly) adult stages, and also attaches to adult flies for dispersal (phoresis).
