Maija Avotins (born 10 April 1975) is a former professional tennis player from Australia.
Avotins attended the Australian Institute of Sport on a scholarship from Melbourne in the early 1990s.
[1] She had a successful career in the juniors, most notably winning the girls' doubles title at the 1992 Wimbledon Championships, partnering Lisa McShea.
[2] On the professional circuit she featured as a wildcard in the women's doubles at both the 1993 Australian Open and 1994 Australian Open.
