MES Cadets took part in national level celebrations as well as participating in training camps organized by the NSS.

[4] Brass Band started on 18 May 1990 after the instruments were received under the auspice of former president, Maumoon Abdul Gayoom.

[4] MES Scouts had participated in the 1994 Pakistan National Jumboree in Koitar as well the Fourth International Adventure held in Panchmadhi of Madhya Pradesh, India.

MES Guides had attended training programmes overseas such as the one held in Kuching of Sarawak, Malaysia in 2000.

[4][7] Prefects of MES were selected on the basis of merit and prominence in co-curricular activities.
