Raised in Los Angeles, California, United States from age 4 to 12 before moving back to Tokyo, Japan, Oshio writes his lyrics in English and Japanese.
He has held many starring roles in TV shows, dramas, commercials, and movies in Japan as well as in China.
Oshio continued over the next 3 years juggling acting, performing live and releasing albums under his band Liv.
[4][5] He was subsequently dropped by Avex Entertainment for violating his contract[6] and his music labels cancelled distribution of all his releases.

According to the police, Tanaka fell ill and her condition took a turn for the worse at around 6:30 p.m. Aug. 2 after taking the drug with Oshio.
