Marcus Elliot Williams[1] (born November 18, 1986) is an American former professional basketball player.

Williams attended Roosevelt High School in Seattle before playing college basketball for University of Arizona from 2005 to 2007.

[2] After considering entering the 2006 NBA draft, he returned for his sophomore year and was named to the All-Pac-10 first team.

On April 5, 2007, he declared for the NBA draft, foregoing his final two years of college eligibility.

[3] Williams was selected with the 33rd overall pick in the 2007 NBA draft by the San Antonio Spurs.

On March 28, 2008, he signed with the Los Angeles Clippers for the rest of the 2007–08 NBA season.

On April 8, 2009, he signed with the San Antonio Spurs for the rest of the 2008–09 NBA season.
