Marne (/mɑːrn/) is an unincorporated community in Wright Township of Ottawa County in the U.S. state of Michigan.
[3] Marne is located at 43°02′10″N 85°49′40″W / 43.03611°N 85.82778°W / 43.03611; -85.82778[1] off exit 23 on Interstate 96, 12 miles northwest of Grand Rapids.
Marne was originally called Berlin due to the many German settlers in the area.
Ed Cole, an automotive executive for General Motors, was born in Marne, where his father was a dairy farmer.
The median age was 42.8 and the percentage of high school graduates and higher was 91%.
