Martha Mwadinomho yaKristian Nelumbu (born 7 August 1930) is the Ohamba (Queen) of the Oukwanyama,[1] a dynasty of the Ovambo people in northern Namibia.
Queen Mwadinomho was born into the Oukwanyama royal family at Oifidi village in Angola on 7 August 1931.
[2] She was crowned in November 2005, succeeding her cousin Kornelius Mwetupunga Shelungu.
The Namibia University of Science and Technology (Nust) on 3rd May 2024 conferred an honorary doctorate degree on Oukwanyama Queen Martha Mwadinomho.
[4] She was conferred a Honorary Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) in Leadership and Change Management which was awarded due to her accomplishments which focus on several SDGs.
