Martin County School District

Martin County School District, also referred to officially as the School Board of Martin County, is a public school district that covers Martin County, Florida.

[4] Its former Superintendent, Laurie J. Gaylord, was first elected in 2012, with her second term ending in November 2020.

[5] The district is overseen by the Martin County School Board, a body of five elected officers.

[7] That year there were controversies over whether certain books could be displayed in schools.
