Matthew Sean Wells (born November 26, 1990) is an American former professional football linebacker.
Wells was selected in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL draft by the New England Patriots.
[2] On August 10, 2015, the Patriots traded Wells to the Chicago Bears for Ryan Groy.
[7] Wells signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League on October 10, 2016.
In 2018, Wells signed with the Birmingham Iron of the Alliance of American Football for the 2019 season.
