Medhane Alem Cathedral, Addis Ababa

[2] Bole Medhane Alem Cathedral was constructed in 1924 and completed in 1931 under the guidance of Emperor Haile Selassie.

It is an important place for religious and cultural center as well as the headquarters of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church.

[3] The church building was built by stone, wood and marble, and the ulterior surface was made of granite, while the interior contains stained glass windows, intricate carvings, and ornate decorations.
