Subsequently, Melba College was included in the 2015/2016 state budget as part of a $217 million project for statewide school infrastructure improvements.

These programs include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), humanities, and languages, with a special focus on career pathways to higher education and vocational training.
