Michelle Scutt

Michelle Scutt (born Probert on 17 June 1960) is a female former British Olympic athlete.

Competing for Wales at the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, Australia, she won a silver medal in the 400 metres, behind Australia's Raelene Boyle.

[2] Scutt won a bronze medal in the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, running the third leg of the 4 × 400 m relay.

She competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles in the 400m[3] reaching the semi-final round,[4] and in the 4 × 400 m relay reaching the final and finishing in fourth place.

[5] She married fellow international athlete Steve Scutt on 18 October 1980 in Culcheth,[6][7][8] and moved to Loughborough where her husband worked at the university.
