Michael "Mick" McGinley (born 1940)[1][2] is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played for St Eunan's and the Donegal county team.
[6] McGinley is a business partner of Tony Boyle, who co-owns Persona, which has been involved in a lawsuit against Ireland.
[1] Persona lost out to the Esat Digifone consortium of Denis O'Brien in 1995, a series of events which was later detailed during the Moriarty Tribunal.
[1] Though Persona is dormant, as of 2023, McGinley and his family continue to provide additional equity for the company.
[2] McGinley has played in amateur golf tournaments in Ireland, Spain and Portugal.
