Mike Josef (né Yusuf;[1] Aramaic: ܡܐܝܟ ܝܘܣܦ; born 25 January 1983)[2] is a German politician who has served as the Lord Mayor of Frankfurt am Main since May 2023.

From 2011 to 2016, Josef worked as organizing secretary at the German Trade Union Federation (DGB).

After Peter Feldmann was voted out of office on 6 November 2022, Josef ran for the SPD in the election for Lord Mayor of the City of Frankfurt am Main.

Josef calls for "tough action" against drug dealers, including more police officers on the streets.

A weapons ban zone and more video surveillance are also intended to ensure greater internal security.

Josef also wants to take action against the "littering of public space," among other things by imposing noticeable penalties.
