Facing environmental consultant Mo Pearson in the Republican primary, Miller prevailed with 74% of the vote and went on to beat Democrat Linda Stewart.
During his first term in the Florida House of Representatives Miller worked across the aisle to pass bills to combat veteran homelessness and cosponsored legislation to address the human trafficking crisis.
