Minuscule 218

Minuscule 218 (in the Gregory-Aland numbering), δ 300 (Soden),[1] is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the Old Testament (Septuaginta) and New Testament, on parchment.

The text of the Gospels has also another division according to the smaller Ammonian Sections, but without references to the Eusebian Canons.

[3] It contains tables of the κεφαλαια (tables of contents) before each book, subscriptions at the end of each book, the Euthalian Apparatus (in Acts, Cath., and Paul), the Eusebian Canons absent.

[3][4] The Greek text of the New Testament of this codex is a representative of the Byzantine text-type (except epistles).

[6] The manuscript was brought from Constantinople to Vienna by Busbecq (like codex 123 and 434).
